1) RIGHT mouse click on the 'My Computer' icon select 'map network drive' from the menu
2) Pick a letter of your choice for 'Drive'. It doesn't matter what you choose, but it usually is best if it's lower down in the alphabet (like S or W).
3) Type in the complete PATH of your network drive in the 'folder'
area. It needs to be in this format: \\server.sas.upenn.edu\sharename
4) Check the box that says Reconnect at Login.
5) Click the words that say 'connect using a different username'
In the box that appears. Type your user name and password that you
use to access the SERVER (i.e., cattell, SSClion). For SAS servers,
you may have to use the format "SAS\yourusername" Click
OK. Click FINISH on the main page.
If it works, a window will appear showing the directory. You can then access the drive anytime from the drive list by double clicking My Computer. |
