Students should declare their major before the end of their sophomore year. Each student should prepare a Penn-In-Touch worksheet and then meet with their assigned Academic Advisor. Students should next meet with a BBB advisor who will assist the student in further refining his/her major plan. The advisors will approve the plan on-line.
It is important that students plan their schedule well in advance. Students may meet with the Director, Associate Director or Program Coordinator to discuss the curriculum. Advising hours are posted online at: http://www.psych.upenn.edu/bbb/BBBAdvising.htm
Each student will be required to meet with a BBB Advisor prior to advance registration in the spring of their junior year. Notification will be sent to each declared major by the end of February. Students should not assume that all courses will be taught each semester. We also urge students to consult with an advisor at least once a year to review their coursework on the major.
BBB students who are considering health professional schools after graduation should also review the courses required for admission. More information can be found at http://www.vpul.upenn.edu/careerservices/gradprof/healthprof/med.html.
