Research Areas

Although the graduate group is not divided into formal subareas, faculty in the Psychology Graduate Group have research interests that may be broadly classified into the areas of:

  • Brain, Cognitive, and Decision Science
  • Clinical, Positive, and Social Psychology

In addition, clusters of faculty have interests in the following more specific research themes:

Animal Learning and Behavior, Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience, Control of Action, Decision Processes, Developmental Psychology, Ethnopolitical Conflict, Evolutionary Psychology, Individual Differences and Behavior Genetics, Language and Communication, Memory and Learning,  Positive Psychology, Psychopathology and Psychotherapy, and Sensation and Perception
