makefsys - utility program to format a new file system disk




The utility program makefsys is used to format a new file system disk. After invoking the program, it prompts the user through a series of steps that includes, removing the current disk, inserting a new blank disk, and transferring utility programs from the host to the new file system. The sequence is as follows:
Makefsys will now connect you to the host.
Transfer system files from the host to the satellite
by entering the commands:

	cd /usr/p68/sbin
	~%xtake !bootboot
	~%xtake !boot
	~%xtake !ldexec
	~%xtake !elf

When all files are transferred, disconnect from the host by typing the
characters ~.
