Step
1: Find the unique ID number (MAC) of your network or wireless
card
A MAC address is a number
consisting of six
alphanumeric pairs, e.g.
A0:00:00:00:B0:00 or A0-00-00-00-B0-00
Windows XP/Win2000
- go to the Start Menu, open Run and type cmd in
the blank. Click OK
- type ipconfig /all at the prompt
- find your network or wireless card on the list
- the MAC address is the physical address
Apple OS X
- launch System Preferences
- launch Network
- select Show: select your netword card OR your Airport
card if using wireless
- The ID listed is your Mac address
After filling in the form, it will take up to 5 minutes to take effect.
If you have more then one laptop or more then one network card you
would like to use, you will have to re-register for each device.
