Welcome to the Dahan Lab

How do adults represent and access the words they know? This is the question we research here in the Dahan Lab at the University of Pennsylvania. In our lab we use an eye-tracking paradigm which involves measuring eye movements and fixations in order to better understand mapping of sound forms onto lexical representations. Visit Research and Experimental Procedure for more information.

The Dahan Lab is directed by Dr. Delphine Dahan, who is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to her research on how adults understand language, Dr. Dahan teaches courses on the psychology of language.

The Dahan Lab is funded by grants from the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation.
